The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has established a program to provide reimbursement of 80% of the portion of early retiree claims paid in the plan year for an individual that exceed $15,000 but are less than $90,000.

Reimbursement requests are processed on a first-come-first-served basis, and once the funds for the program are depleted, no further reimbursements will be made. Incomplete or insufficient applications are sent back to the end of the line. So accuracy and time are of the essence. You only have until May 5, 2011 to submit your application!
